The Ministry of Corporate Affairs ("MCA") vide Companies (Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2018 clarified that Re-appointed Independent Director for second term under sub-section (10) of section 149 shall be removed only by passing Special Resolution and after giving him a reasonable oppotunity of being heard.
